RIS Method
A structured route to independent driving
RIS stands for step-by-step driving education. Skills are divided into manageable parts, so there is time to understand, practise and apply them independently.
-
Vehicle control
You become familiar with the car and learn the basic actions in a calm setting.
-
Simple traffic situations
You practise looking, deciding and acting safely in increasingly varied situations.
-
Complex traffic situations
Busy intersections, motorways and special manoeuvres are introduced when the foundation is solid.
-
Independent and responsible driving
You learn to plan ahead, recognise risks and make your own safe choices in traffic.
A lesson with Durmus
Clear before, during and after every lesson
Start with a clear goal
At the start, you discuss the skill or traffic situation that will be central to the lesson.
Practise with direct feedback
Durmus explains calmly, lets you practise and gives feedback you can apply immediately.
Finish with a short review
Together you note what is going well and what you will continue with next time.
Specialized Guidance
Room for the way you learn
If you experience driving anxiety, performance anxiety, ADHD or autism, the lesson structure can be adjusted to provide more calm, predictability and repetition.
Together you decide what helps: shorter instructions, repeating a route, preparing a situation in advance or taking more time for one skill.
What you can expect
- A calm atmosphere without unnecessary pressure
- Clear agreements and a predictable lesson structure
- Explanations and exercises tailored to your pace
- Honest feedback about your progress
